How it works
Step by step, so you always know what happens next.
Check-up and X-ray
The doctor checks your teeth, gums and bite, and takes X-rays and photos if needed.
Your treatment plan
You learn how your teeth will move, about how long it will take and the full cost.
Fitting the braces
Small brackets are fixed on your teeth and joined with a wire. Fitting is not painful. Teeth may feel sore for a few days.
Monthly adjustments
You visit about once a month so the doctor can adjust the wire and check progress.
Retainer after braces
When the braces come off, a retainer keeps your new smile in place.
What you get
A confident smile
Straight teeth help you smile, talk and take photos without worry.
Easier cleaning
Straight teeth are easier to brush, so you get fewer cavities and gum problems.
A better bite
Your teeth meet in the right way, which is better for chewing.
A lasting result
With a retainer, your result stays for years.
Braces or clear aligners?
Both can give you straight teeth. The doctor will tell you which one suits your teeth after the check-up.
| Braces | Clear aligners | |
|---|---|---|
| How it looks | Small brackets and a wire on the teeth | Clear trays, hard for others to notice |
| Can you take it out? | No, it stays on | Yes, to eat and brush |
| Best for | Simple and complex cases | Suitable mild to moderate cases |
| Clinic visits | About once a month | Fewer visits in many cases |
| What you must do | Avoid hard and sticky food, clean well | Wear the trays 20 to 22 hours a day |
What does it cost?
Every mouth is different, so the price depends on your case. After the check-up, the doctor explains your options and gives you a clear price before treatment starts. No hidden charges.
Questions about braces
Still have a question? Ask us on WhatsApp.
Do braces hurt?
Fitting does not hurt. After fitting and after each adjustment, your teeth may feel sore for a few days. Soft food and normal pain relief usually help.
How long will I wear braces?
Most cases take about 1 to 2 years. Simple cases can be faster and complex cases can take longer. The doctor gives you a time estimate at the check-up.
Am I too old for braces?
No. If your teeth and gums are healthy, adults can get braces too. Many of our braces patients are adults.
What can I eat with braces?
You can eat most food. Avoid very hard and sticky food like hard nuts, ice and chewing gum, because they can break a bracket.
How much do braces cost?
The price depends on your case and the type of braces. After the check-up you get a clear price before treatment starts.
